Children and Youth Missions

Our children are active in many Sunday School missions, including raising funds for Heifer International and collecting supplies for school children in impoverished areas. Our youth groups perform service projects during the year. 

Heifer has learned over the years that a holistic approach is necessary in order to build sustainable communities. So we’ve developed a set of global initiatives – areas of emphasis that must be addressed if we’re to meet our mission of ending world hunger and poverty and caring for the earth.

Next summer our youth will be participating in the Red Bird Mission via a trip planned for August 1-9, 2009. Look for details on this upcoming trip. Visit our event calendar to see the upcoming planning meetings.
