Financial Support For Missions

We provide financial support to a number of organizations that provide physical and emotional comfort to those in need.  This year we provided funds to the following organizations:

     * United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR)
     * Heifer International Project
     * United Methodist Homes
     * United Methodist camps
     * Pivot Ministries
     * Midnight Run
     * Interfaith Council of Southwestern Connecticut
     * Food Bank of Lower Fairfield County
     * Christian Community Action Food Bank
     * Domestic Violence Crisis Center
     * Overseas ministries Study Center
     * HELP for South Africa
     * Kairos Prison Ministry


Mother Mission Efforts
INTERFAITH COUNCIL - Several members represent our church on the Interfaith Council of New Canaan -- a group, composed of representatives of all houses of faith in New Canaan, that meets monthly to review items of common interest (special programs, education and support for certain programs such as Camp Hand-in-Hand or ABC House or the cottages).

ADDITIONAL ORGANIZATIONS WE SUPPORT - Our church supports the following organizations and are accessible for them to help and support by individual volunteering.

     * Food Bank of Lower Fairfield County
     * Christian Community Action Food Bank in Norwalk
